Steel strapping is the best option for heavy duty. It can withstand long-distance travel, even while keeping heavy loads in place. This is also a great option for cargo that needs to be loaded and unloaded multiple times during delivery.

Different Strengths

It is important to note that steel strapping comes in two different strengths: regular duty and high tensile. Regular duty steel strapping is good for packages that are not too heavy or fragile – if you only need to reinforce or close boxes, this will do.

High tensile strapping, meanwhile, can provide shock resistance for heavy cargo. You can apply steel strappings manually, or by using power tools. Polyester and polypropylene are best in keeping a fragile load in place.

If you plan to ship items that can suffer damage easily, poly strapping can be a good option due to their elasticity.
